Access Affordable Legal Help for Tenants

Everyone deserves to understand their rights, not just those who can afford a solicitor.

The Problem With Getting Legal Help for Tenants Today

For too long, the legal system has worked for those who already have power. Not the tenants facing eviction, unsafe homes, or losing their deposit.

Everyday housing issues like evictions, deposit disputes, or unsafe living conditions can quickly spiral into something unmanageable. Most tenants are left feeling overwhelmed, unsure what their rights are, or how to protect their tenants legal rights when things go wrong.

Justice moves slowly and the costs can rack up quickly. Too often, people give up because they think legal help is out of reach.

We’re here to change that.

Levelling the Playing Field

We built Contend to give tenants clarity, confidence, and a fair chance to stand up for themselves, no matter their income or background. We’re here to make tenants legal rights clear, actionable, and accessible for everyone. To help the people who’ve been priced out of the system for too long, or left waiting weeks for answers they urgently need.

It’s our mission to:

Make understanding your rights universal, so no tenant is left in the dark about their legal options.

Our Story

Contend began with two people who saw, firsthand, how unfair the system can be; especially for renters.
They set out to build a platform that uses technology responsibly, never to replace humans, but to make justice more human. A service built around real people’s lives, challenges, and rights.
